If You Lived Here... is a participatory public art project that invites passersby to weave and share a response to: Do you live here in this neighborhood? Did you or your ancestors live here? The project honours the historical and contemporary residents of the Downtown Eastside (DTES) and intersecting social histories and narratives of displacement of Coast Salish First Nations and Japanese Canadian communities in particular. Free.
