The Sakura Singers formed in 1970 as a mixed choral group directed by Mrs. Ruth Suzuki. An Endowment Fund was established upon its incorporation as a Society in 2006. Resources from the Fund are used to promote the enjoyment of Japanese songs and a better understanding and appreciation of Japanese Canadian culture. We invite anyone who loves to sing Japanese songs to join us. The Sakura Singers holds its major concert biennially, the next being May 15, 2016.

Sakura Singersは男女混合合唱グループとして、JCCAの後 援、Ruth Suzuki指揮のもと1970年に結成されました。2006年に ブリテイッシュ・コロンビア州の非営利団体に登録したとき、寄付 基金を設立し、そこからの資金は日本の歌を楽しんだり、日系カナ ダ人の文化をよりよく理解するための活動に使われます。日本の 歌がお好きな方はぜひご参加ください。さくらシンガーズは2年に 一度コンサートを開いていて、次回は2016年の5月15日予定です。
